Our children’s ministry is founded on two very important chapters in the Bible. Matthew chapter 22 and Matthew Chapter 28. In these two chapters we find the Great commandment and the Great Commission. The Great Commandment says “Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?" Jesus answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.´ This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first: ´Love your neighbor as you love yourself.´ All the law and the writings of the prophets depend on these two commands. Matthew 22:36-40 (ICB). Out of these verses we see two very important purposes. Love the Lord your God, which is worship and Love your neighbor as yourself, which is service.
