• OUR WORSHIP is contemporary praise and worship with contemporary instruments. We enjoy mixing in some of the old standard hymns as well. Worship's purpose is to bring us into the real presence of the Lord.
• OUR TEACHING is dynamic and Bible-based. Pastor Rick's messages are both encouraging and engaging. The teaching at FCC, whether from the pulpit or from Sunday school, is geared to bringing us into closer fellowship with God through His written word and the inspired spoken word of the Holy Spirit through His people.

STATEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS The "Statement of Fundamental Truths" contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to. Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.

There are many ways to plug in and get connected at FCC. In addition to full-service toddler and infant nurseries, FCC offers the following selected ministries:

• LIFE GROUPS are dynamic small groups that meet on the second Sunday night of each month for fellowship, Bible study, devotion, and fun! These groups are connecting points for people to get to know each other on a more personal level in a small environment. There are groups for all ages, family situations, and needs.
• WOMEN'S MINISTRY has been touching lives in powerful ways. The purpose of this ministry is to enable women to reach their full potential, individual calling, or purpose in the Lord, through acceptance, love, encouragement, ministry, and service to one another.
• MEN'S MINISTRY includes prayer breakfasts on a monthly basis. Men's ministry is another wonderful way to get involved and meet men who deal with the same challenges and obstacles that you face. You will be challenged to excel in your daily walk with the Lord.
• YOUTH MINISTRY is a program that focuses on helping our youth deal with the daily pressures they face. Every Wednesday evening, Planet Youth, is filled with over 150 young people, who love God and desire to see their generation impacted for Christ. It's fast-paced and dynamic - not your average church service.
• CHILDREN'S MINISTRY is on the grow! At an early age, our children are guided toward a relationship with Jesus. The children's ministry is Bible-based and taught in dynamic and creative ways. Your kids will love it.
• MISSIONS are an integral part of FCC. We want to impact the world for God.
• PEORIA OUTREACH CENTER AND CITY CHURCH is an inner city mission reaching out to the hurting and broken people of our city. All of our programs are designed to see people saved and then discipled in the Lord.

 Why Visit FCC?

We believe church has three purposes: (1) to introduce the lost to Christ; (2) to provide an environment for worshiping God and fellowshiping with others who hold similar values and love for God; and (3) to effectively train and nurture believers.

If we as Christians are to maintain our walk with God, we must submit ourselves to His Word and godly examples firmly rooted in the faith. These goals can best be accomplished through a warm and caring body of believers such as Faith Christian Centre.

Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
